Best Foot Forward 2024 Tour Kick-Off - Innsbruck

This weekend the Best Foot Forward tour 2024 was officially started in Innsbruck, Austria. We couldn't have asked for a better way to kick-off the season, with 50 skaters from 7 nations, the vibe was great, and the level of skating was really high and competitive.

Podium

3rd place: Giuseppe Cola

1st place: Laura Žáčková

2nd place: Julia Placek

3rd place: Giorgia Meini

1st place: Alessio Binkert

2nd place: Viktor Jakeš

3rd place: Kevin Loi

Our Travel Judge Stefan Ebner comments on the placings as follows:

First place went to Agustin Aqulia, who had already taken the lead in the qualifications. Tricks like kickflip FS 50-50 on the bump to ledge, nosebluntslide on the big rail and kickflip lipslide on the a-frame rail secured the top spot. Santino Exenberger did not manage to pull off his usual "20-tricks-in-2-minutes" but still, a great variety of tricks like 270 lipslide on the a-frame rail, bigger spin flip on the hip and fs feeble down the big rail landed him in second place. Third place went to Giuseppe Cola who did rather basic tricks but with such style that it was clear he had to be on the podium. His massive kickflips over the pyramid as well as down the stairset just were poetry in motion. The turn-up of women in Innsbruck was as impressive as some of their skating. In the end Laura Zackova took the win with bangers like a 50-50 down the big hubba and lipslide down the big rail.
