The 9th stop of the tour went down for the first time in Rotterdam Skateland, with typical Dutch weather, everything between rain, storm & sunshine, 50 riders from 5 nations showed their skills. Douwe took the win by skating the whole course with authority. He put together a very comprehensive mix of beautiful tricks like a balanced nosegrind on the kinked ledge, a nollie flip down the stairs, massive transfer flips, and flipping into and out of manuals. Second place went to Tijmen who can kickflip into most of his tricks - bs tailslide, bs lipslide and even transfer to fs boardslide over the pyramid. Beau started with an amazing bs 270 to noseblunt slide on the bump-to-rail followed by fast and hard tricks ending with a transfer fs feeble on the pyramid and a bigspin fs bluntslide on the bump-to-rail, earning him third place. Because Tijmen already has a ticket for the finals in Berlin, the third golden ticket went to Xander in fourth. He transferred to lipslide frontside as well as backside and combined his other tricks with great style. The win in the women`s category went to Liv, who, even though one of the youngest riders, was the only woman who managed a proper lipslide on the pyramid`s rail and combined that with kickflips and heelflips at the hip as well as crooks and 5-0 on the bump-to-ledge. Going switch onto the small down-rail as well as down the stair set sealed the deal. Here you can find the results of the Qualifiers & FinalsPictures & Videos Pictures to downloadCredits: Sam ClarkOur recap video will be online tomorrow on our Instagram Channel.
