After five awesome Blue Tomato x Zumiez Best Foot Forward European tour stops in Hamburg, Helsinki, Berlin, Maribor and Utrecht, the contest series has now reached the half-way point at which the Blue Tomato has so far counted in total more than 260 participating skaters and over 1,500 spectators. Wow! Therefore here's a very happy announcement of the next tour stops coming up this month:

So, in the end, there was perhaps something written about Yuto Horigome’s victory in Men’s Street skateboarding here in Tokyo. Already at only 22 years old and one of the greatest of all-time, those pundits who claimed the gold medal was Nyjah Huston’s to lose clearly had not followed the Japanese prodigy’s trajectory, including that World Championship victory in Rome just a month previously.

Black Yeti landed in Japan, for the first event of the World Rookie Tour Skateboard in Asia! Good vibes and an awesome skateboarding level welcomed 54 young rippers at the brand new Akamaru Skatepark in Osaka, opened in 2020. * Youngest skater was Kai Wataru, just 7 years old, oldest was 19 years old * Ishimaru Aoi (16 years old) earner the Best Girl title * Sasaki Toa became the Best Grom Boy (14 years old) * Sasaki Raimu (17 years old) was crowned the Rookie winner * Congratulations to all the contestants and big cheers to the winners! * MC Rei Takazawa and DJ Arisha Sakata created an amazing atmosphere for the contest with their tunes * Judges Masahiro Sakata, Masatoshi Kimura and Kotaro Kawai did a great job * Link to Full Results and Contest Photogallery inside the recap

The fifth stop of the Blue Tomato x Zumiez Best Foot Forward Europe Tour took place in Utrecht and it was a rather big deal for the local skateboarding community as it was the first skateboard event in The Netherlands in a year!

Simple Session 21 will be back in Tallinn, Estonia, on August 20–21 with a big summertime festival and an all-around good time. This years’ event will be more exclusive as the tickets are limited and the venue will be more intimate and closer to the public than ever – the Simple Session series will host an exciting street contest in the hip up and coming Põhjala district – an old rubber factory turned into a cultural hub.

The fourth stop of the Blue Tomato x Zumiez Best Foot Forward Europe Tour took place in Maribor for the first time ever. With skaters from 8 nations we had the most international riders field in the history of Best Foot Forward in Europe.

The third stop of the Blue Tomato x Zumiez Best Foot Forward Europe Tour 2021 landed in Germany at Skatehalle Berlin on Saturday 3rd of July, and it was sick!

This summer, the World Action Sports Festival FISE is launching a new tour of Freestyle sports events in partnership with L'Agence Savoie Mont Blanc, a regional tourism promotion body representing Savoie and Haute-Savoie. For this first edition, emblematic resorts of the destination: Tignes, Avoriaz and La Clusaz will welcome riders and the general public during 3 stages taking place respectively on July 10, 17 and September 25. All of them will be opportunities to live new experiences in the territory and create links between generations through festive and friendly meetings.

ESPN X Games announced today that X Games 2021 will return to the roots of action sports – hosting BMX, Skateboard and Moto X competitions from three unique athlete training facilities around Southern California from July 14 – 18. Following the cancellation of the final host city year of X Games Minneapolis 2020 due to the pandemic, X Games 2021 will uniquely embrace the grassroots nature of summer action sports and bring world-class competition straight to the athletes’ facilities, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at these athlete playgrounds.

Today, Hurricane Group is launching the E-FISE Junior by Hot Wheels, a video competition that will shine a light on a whole new generation of riders. The contest will take place on the e-fise.com platform and officially begins on 15th July running until the end of August.

The up and coming talent will have a chance to compete in FISE's new digital contest scheduled for July - August 2021: E-FISE JUNIOR BY HOT WHEELS.

Since 1997, FISE is a festival that brings together Urban disciplines such as BMX, Skateboard, Roller, and Scooter Freestyle among many others. Its French tour, the FISE Xperience Series, is going to the emblematic cities' heart to organize competitions, initiations, and demonstrations to support the development of these sports.

After a very successful start into the Blue Tomato x Zumiez Best Foot Forward Europe Tour that went down in Hamburg at the end of May, the Blue Tomato team are very excited to announce the next tour stops. The contest will be heading all the way to Helsinki where Micropolis Skatepark will be the venue for stop #2, then it will be Skatehalle Berlin's turn to host the next stop, followed by Slovenia and its famous Maribor skatepark that will welcome competitors of stop #4.
