It was 4am when the alarm clocks suddenly woke up the shape crew of Snowpark Schöneben. A snowpark had to be dug out. Fresh snow required the crew to work extremely hard. In the end, Park Designer Daniel Osterland and his crew made it: Just in time, the crew completed a perfectly shaped multi-jib obstacle. And over 50 riders were hitting this bad boy during the Shred Poker Schöneben.

From the 13th to the 16th of March went down the second edition of Pila Rookie Fest. Riders and coaches from Italy, France, Russia, Poland, England, Iceland, Romania and Finland gathered at Pila, Italy, full of enthusiasm and willingness to show their best.

That’s the Shred Poker Pizol! Last Saturday, the 9th March, it was finally time: The legendary freestyle event came back to Switzerland and blessed the motivated shredders with an unforgettable session at the Riderpark!

The 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop hosted by Ride Snowboards went down on March 2nd and 3rd, 2019 at the Penken Park in the holiday region of Mayrhofen-Hippach in the Zillertal. Teams from all over Europe delivered an amazing snowboarding show on Penken Park´s versatile slopestyle setup. With over 90 participants in the Penken Fun Ride Battle and over 100 contest competitors, the 3rd event of Zillertal´s most popular snowboard amateur series beats all VÄLLEY RÄLLEY records.

Every beginning is tough, and this is especially true for the first steps in the world of freestyle. But when sunrays warm your face, nicely shaped obstacles surround you and many happy shredqueens are on-site, then, all of a sudden, it doesn’t feel so tough anymore, but insanely motivating. These ain’t empty phrases – again proven by the Girls Shred Session in Alta Badia. A truly perfect freestyle day full of women power went down at the heart of the Dolomites on March 2, 2019.

It’s true – at Blue Tomato Kings Park Hochkönig things are served in big portions. The playground’s bill of fare definitely lives up to its name, as the variety of obstacles lives up to a fair equivalent to a 51-course menu at the table of some European noble houses. Golden cutlery included. But this time, the King invited Karl Brandl and Felix Widnig for dinner who showed his majesty how it’s done.

What an incredibly mint bluebird day at the Penken Park at Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. For the 5th QParks Tour Stop of the season, the sun put the contest setup into the spotlight. Unbelievable – 50 snowboarders from 10 countries made their way to Zillertal in order to compete at the Penken Battle. Once again, they proved that Penken Park is the Austrian benchmark for international freestyle.
