Today, Hawaii’s Billy Kemper and Imaikalani deVault earned first and second place, respectively, at the Pipe Invitational to clinch wildcard spots into the Billabong Pipe Masters in Memory of Andy Irons, the final stop on the 2019 World Surf League (WSL) Men’s Championship Tour (CT) and third gem of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing.

Imaikalani deVault (HAW) had a breakthrough performance at WSL Specialty Event Pipe Invitational, and will surf in the heat of his career in the 2019 Billabong Pipe Masters, at Banzai Pipeline, Oahu/Hawaii, December 9, 2019.

The 2020 World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) is set to commence at the perfect lefthander of Riyue Bay on the Island of Hainan, China, for the Corona Open China hosted by Wanning.

Today, Carissa Moore (HAW) won the 2019 World Surf League (WSL) Title at the lululemon Maui Pro, the final stop on the WSL Women’s Championship Tour (CT). Moore’s victory comes following her provisional qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Although she defeated her closest opponent, 17-year-old Caroline Marks (USA), to clinch her fourth World Title, the two will represent America together as surfing makes its Olympic debut in Tokyo next year.

Jack Robinson (AUS) earned an exalted victory today at the Vans World Cup of Surfing with the best Final heat total in Sunset Beach history and claimed the last spot on the World Surf League (WSL) Men’s 2020 Championship Tour (CT) by way of the Qualifying Series (QS). The second event of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing and final WSL QS competition of the year, Robinson earned 10,000 points to surge from No. 22 on the QS to No. 5 and edge out runner-up Ezekiel Lau (HAW) from CT requalification. Robinson will join the world’s best for his very first run on the dream tour.

Amuro Tsuzuki and Lucas Vicente have claimed the 2019 World Surf League Junior Championship at the Taiwan Open of Surfing. The final day of competition saw the best junior surfers in the world tested in solid and unruly six-to-eight foot surf at Jinzun Harbour as the cream rose to the top on a historic day of competition. The pair overcame tough opposition in Californian duo Alyssa Spencer and Kade Matson in their respective finals.

Portugal’s Frederico Morais (PRT) won the Hawaiian Pro today with sure-footed power surfing and a veteran edge over Leonardo Fioravanti (ITA), Matthew McGillivray (ZAF) and Ethan Ewing (AUS) who placed second, third and fourth respectively in the Final at Haleiwa Ali’i Beach. Today’s victory cements Morais’ status back on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT) and the lead on the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing title race. The Hawaiian Pro is the second-to-last Men’s WSL Qualifying Series (QS) 10,000 event and first gem of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, which now moves to Sunset Beach for the Vans World Cup of Surfing.

17 months ago, two-time World Surf League (WSL) Champion Tyler Wright (AUS) fell ill in South Africa. Temporarily hospitalized, Wright was forced to pull out of the Corona Open J-Bay and was diagnosed with Influenza A with complications that sidelined her from competition since.

2x World Champion Tyler Wright (AUS) will compete in the lululemon Maui Pro, which opens this Monday, November 25, 2019.

Isabella Nichols (AUS) has clinched her first major World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) win, taking out the 2019 Port Stephens Toyota Pro presented by Sisstrevolution QS6,000 at Birubi Beach. Nichols took down fellow Australian Macy Callaghan (AUS) in the 35-minute final where the two went toe-to-toe in clean three-to-four foot waves for the last WSL Women’s QS event of the 2019 season.

Two South American Titles for WSL Latin America were decided today at the 2019 Oi Pro Junior Series in Maresias, Brazil. Tainá Hinckel (BRA) won her second regional Pro Junior crown and Piccolo Clemente (PER) won an astonishing 4th regional Longboard title by advancing to the Semifinals on Saturday.

Mikey McDonagh (AUS) and Claire Bevilacqua (ITA) have mastered conditions and conquered big surf off Yallingup, capturing victory at the Cape Naturaliste Pro, a World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) 1000 event. The fourth and final day of competition delivered for surfers, as a powerful groundswell combined with clean offshore winds providing an exciting conclusion to the Western Australian Pro Surf Series for 2019. With the whole South West Coastline being pounded by swell, Injidup provided groomed 4-6 feet waves that McDonagh and Bevilacqua tore to pieces on their way to victory.

Italo Ferreira (BRA) and Caroline Marks (USA) have won the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal, the penultimate stop on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT). Claiming victory in the Final bout against Jordy Smith (ZAF) and Lakey Peterson (USA), respectively, Ferreira and Marks excelled in pumping four-to-six foot surf at Supertubos.

The World Surf League (WSL) will once again return to the playful peaks of Jinzun Harbour in Taitung County, Taiwan to crown the 2019 World Junior (WJC) and World Longboard Champions (WLC). The Taiwan Open of Surfing, which will run from November 23 to December 7, 2019, will be bigger than ever with the addition of a Men’s Qualifying Series (QS) 3000 event to this year’s schedule.

The World Surf League (WSL) Men’s Qualifying Series (QS) Oaxaca Pro QS 1,500 presented by Corona crowned John Mel (USA) its victor over Jackson Butler (USA) in pumping six-to-eight foot swell at Playa Zicatela, Puerto Escondido. This marked both Butler and Mel’s first-ever QS Final and in the end it was Mel who came away with a maiden QS victory.
