Caroline Marks (USA) and Gabriel Medina (BRA) have won the Rip Curl Narrabeen Classic presented by Corona, the third stop on the World Surf League (WSL) 2021 Championship Tour (CT). The iconic North Narrabeen Beach saved the best for last, hosting Finals Day in three-to-four foot surf with clean off-shore winds.

The Rip Curl Narrabeen Classic presented by Corona, the third stop on the World Surf League (WSL) 2021 Championship Tour (CT), is just days away from the opening of the waiting period on Friday, April 16. It will be the first time in over two decades that men’s and women’s World Title points will be earned on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Today, Carissa Moore (HAW) and Italo Ferreira (BRA) won the Rip Curl Newcastle Cup presented by Corona, the second stop on the World Surf League (WSL) 2021 Championship Tour (CT), in three-to-five foot waves at Merewether. The event culminated in an action-packed Finals Day with both winners raising the performance bar as World Title points were collected in Newcastle for the first time in almost three decades.

The World Surf League (WSL) announces the updated calendar for the remaining 2021 Championship Tour (CT) leading into the Rip Curl WSL Finals in September. The tour includes a stop in Mexico for the first time in 15 years and the women surfing Teahupo’o for the first time since 2006. Following the fourth and final event of the current Australian leg, the CT will continue as follows*:

The World Surf League (WSL) 2021 Championship Tour (CT) has arrived in the iconic surf town of Newcastle ahead of the Rip Curl Newcastle Cup presented by Corona. The event is set to commence tomorrow morning and Merewether and will be the first of four elite CT events to run in Australia over the next two months.

Jackson Baker and Kobie Enright have taken impressive victories at the Port Stephens Pro presented by Mad Mex, the second event of the 2021 World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS). The three-day QS1,000 event saw an array of conditions with competition wrapping up in fun, two-to-three foot waves at One Mile Beach.

Molly Picklum and Reef Heazlewood have taken victory at the Great Lakes Pro presented by Surfers Rescue 24/7, the opening event of the 2021 World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS). The pair were the surfers to beat, each posting the highest scores of the event on Finals Day to clinch their maiden WSL QS victories in solid but junky, four-to-five foot peaks at Tuncurry Breakwall.

Today, the World Surf League (WSL) confirmed the updated schedule for the Championship Tour (CT) Australian leg, announcing the three upcoming events in North Narrabeen (NSW), Margaret River (WA), and Rottnest Island (WA). The WSL also announced the cancellation of the 2021 Corona Open Gold Coast pres. by Billabong and the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach.

The 2021 Great Lakes Pro pres. by Surfers Rescue 24/7 – stop one on the Vissla NSW Pro Surf Series – will kickstart an action-packed year of surfing in Australia from tomorrow until 19 February 2021. The elite four-day World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) 1000 rated event will form the first of four stops on the Vissla NSW Pro Surf Series.

Molly Picklum will be competing at Boomerang Beach this week.

The 2021 Mad Mex Maroubra Pro will see some of Australia’s best and most promising surfers land on the Eastern Sydney beach at the end of February. The elite three-day World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) 1000 rated event will form the third of four stops on the Vissla NSW Pro Surf Series and will take place in Maroubra from the 26 February – 28 February 2021.

2020 Maroubra event winner Dakoda Walters will return the Eastern Sydney beach at the end of February to defend his title.

The World Surf League (WSL) today announced that the Championship Tour (CT) will return to Bells Beach in 2022 and beyond thanks to the new three-year deal that was signed between the WSL and its longtime partners, Rip Curl and the Victorian Government. The deal secures this iconic event into the future and ensures that any WSL World Title hopeful will need to navigate the notorious Bells bowl if they have any chance at becoming a World Champion and that the coveted Bell will be rung for many Easters to come.

With the World Surf League’s (WSL) scheduled return to Australia for the next leg of the Championship Tour (CT), the WSL has confirmed its approval from the New South Wales government to land a chartered flight and quarantine in Sydney. The WSL also announced Newcastle in NSW, Australia, as the fourth event of the Australian leg that will kick off the leg on April 1. The WSL will continue to work with the state governments to update the dates of the other three Australian leg events, working in line with the continually-changing state border closures due to COVID-19.

19-year-old Saffi Vette of Gisborne has claimed an emotional national title at Piha today, bringing much of the surfing community present to tears as she exited the water. Vette was joined by Raglan’s Billy Stairmand who broke his own record to claim an eighth title in the Men’s Division.

The World Surf League (WSL) is excited to announce that the future of the Margaret River Pro has been secured through to at least 2024 after a new agreement was signed between WSL and the Western Australian Government through Tourism Western Australia.

Two-times WSL World Champion John John Florence is over the moon that the Margaret River Pro is secured on the WSL Championship Tour until at least 2024.

In a historic day for surfing, Tyler Wright (AUS) won the Maui Pro presented by ROXY, the first women’s World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT) competition to ever take place at the legendary Banzai Pipeline on Oahu’s North Shore. John John Florence (HAW) fulfilled his lifelong dream of winning the Billabong Pipe Masters presented by Hydro Flask at his home break in the esteemed competition's 50th edition.

The kickoff to the World Surf League (WSL) 2021 Championship Tour (CT) is days away and the WSL's official Fantasy Surfing game is now live. With the Maui Pro presented by ROXY opening this Friday, Dec. 4, and the Billabong Pipe Masters in Memory of Andy Irons presented by Hydro Flask opening Tuesday, Dec. 8, there are only a few days left to register for WSL CT Fantasy. In addition to more new features, WSL CT Fantasy now combines the men's and women's teams. Register now to select your picks to be in the running for the 2021 CT season.

The first extra-large swell of the fall season is slamming into the northwest shores of the Hawaiian islands this week as the world’s top women surfers arrive on the Valley Isle for the start of the Maui Pro presented by ROXY, and the kickoff to the 2021 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT). Today at Honolua Bay, top contenders expressed their excitement for the start of the new CT after the 2020 tour was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The holding period for the 2020 Maui Pro presented by ROXY opens on December 4. The first call will be at 7.30am local time (5.30pm UTC).
