It’s time to visit Prague, capital and largest city in the Czech Republic: the Black Yeti is waiting for the best young skaters at the legendary Mystic Skate Park, located in downtown on an island on the Vltava River. For two decades the skatepark has been a host to the Mystic Sk8 Cup, a World Cup of Skateboarding event, and now for the first time it will be the stage for the World Rookie Tour.

On October 4th Prague will welcome World Rookie Tour Skateboarding for the very first time, and the chosen venue is rather famous: the Mystic Skatepark, home of Prague's Mystic Sk8 Cup.

Black Yeti broke the ice in Germany last week, with a great first stop of the 2020 World Rookie Tour Skate. Now it's time to fly in Switzerland, for the Skills Park Rookie Fest.

With big names entering, flawless lines and massive tricks, the E-FISE Montpellier by HONOR contests were a blast! Votes have been counted and judges scores are in and these are the top athletes who will be going through to the finals to determine who is crowned the overall winners.

In light of the postponement of the Tokyo Summer Games and safety regulations and guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, Dew Tour’s annual summer skateboard competition will now be held May 2021. The event in May will serve as the last Olympic qualifying event in the U.S before the Tokyo summer games.

Oscar Niemeyer is generally regarded as Brazil’s greatest ever architect, designing iconic buildings in his native Brazil and abroad. And as a tribute to his stunning creations, Pedro Barros and Murilo Peres were given a one-off access-all-areas pass to skate his architectural designs ranging from the National Congress Palace in Brasilia to the Contemporary Art Museum in Niterói.

Shifting from snow to street, the third installment of the Real Series 2020, Real Street, drops six never-before-seen skateboard video parts on XGames.com and Youtube today. A full World of X Games episode will air Saturday, May 16 on ESPN2 with a re-air on May 23 on ABC, featuring all six video parts, behind-the-scenes footage and athlete interviews.

In Norway, skateboarding was banned for 11 years during the 1970’s and 1980’s. A few hardcore devotees defied the law and skated in secret keeping the sport alive. In Norway’s Skate Ban, a new documentary from the Olympic Channel, skateboarders of the era who have witnessed of the transition from the prohibition of skateboarding to it being a nationally funded sport and now on the programme for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
