Registrations are open for 2024 Livigno World Rookie Fest

Hurry up and get your spot for the 2024 Livigno World Rookie Fest: registrations are open for the oldest and biggest World Rookie Tour event. The event will accept a maximum number of 200 snowboarders and freeskiers and a special early bird discount is offered until December the 7th.

From 13th to 20th January 2024 the fabulous Mottolino Snowpark will welcome all the best under-18 rippers at this iconic competition.

As usual, the program of the event will offer not only international competition but also workshops, night rail jam, parties and a lot of fun: these are the reasons why the Livigno World Rookie Fest 2024 is one of the most prestigious youth snowboard & freeski events on the planet, since 2005.

A WEEK OF ACTIVITIES ON THE SLOPES AND IN LIVIGNO TOWN

Livigno World Rookie Fest 2024 will be accompanied by countless collateral activities for an unforgettable experience not only for the athletes but also for families and fans. In fact, the competition days will be accompanied by a rich lifestyle program to guarantee all participants 7 unforgettable days of permanence in Livigno.

Avalanche clinics, yoga sessions, artistic workshops, video premieres, aperitifs and parties will complete the already busy competition program. Also, the event will host the new workshop “Black Yeti He.Art ❤️ Project”, a social and inclusive project in collaboration with local associations: Cooperativa L’impronta and Centro Diurno Disabili.

Since 2005, this incredible snowpark has been the Black Yeti’s home and offers WRT riders and teams a premium freestyle terrain to train and compete at the beginning of the winter season.

All snowboarders and freeskiers who will get on the podium of the respective rookie, grom, male and female categories, will be qualified for the World Rookie Finals 2024 which will take place in Kitzsteinhorn Zell am See-Kaprun for snowboarding, and in Madonna di Campiglio for freeskiing.

In addition, Surf Camps in Spain are offered by our partner www.surftolive.com and many prizes from our sponsors. Finally, a special prize will be reserved for the Best Snowboard Team of the event: they will be invited to participate in the world finals of the "Red Bull Hammers with Homies" team contest in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy.

Thanks to the collaboration with the Livigno tourism office, athletes, companions, and friends, can join the event with several all-inclusive packages from 3 to 7 nights (in half-board treatment and double room) including 3 to 6 days lift tickets, contest registration (only for athletes), WRF event pass to all side activities and parties - SEE PHOTO BELOW FOR DETAILS OF  PACKAGE COSTS

For a single room extra cost: 25€ per night

For a no-show not communicated at least 5 days in advance a penalty of the full amount of the reservation will be charged to the National Snowboard Association or club.

EARLY BIRD BOOKING: for bookings received and paid the latest by December the 7th 2023, a discount of 30€ per rider will be applied on packages A-B and of 50€ on package C.

The World Rookie Tour is organized by the Black Yeti ssrl in collaboration with World Snowboard Federation, National Snowboard, Ski and Skateboard Associations, and selected action sports agencies. It was born in 2005 as a series of youth snowboard events and it consists now of a selection of high-quality International events for Snowboard, Freeski, Skateboard and Surf, the so-called "Rookie Fests", reserved for riders under 18's only, in Europe, North and South America, Oceania and Asia. The World Rookie Tour consists not only of competitions: it also features loads of other activities to help rookies grow in the field of professional action sports, such as photo & video shootings, avalanche, and rescue clinics, meetings with photographers, and international team managers, parties and English talks. Since year zero, it awards tickets to world-class events such as X Games Norway, Audi Nines, The Arctic Challenge, The Air & Style, The World Snowboarding Championships, Red Bull Roller Coaster, Simple Session, Mystic Sk8 Cup, invitations to professional photo & video shootings, and shooting trip all around the world. The Black Yeti is an amateur sports club dedicated to the realization of Snowboard, Freeski, Skateboard and Surf projects for boys and girls up to 18 years of age, at international level.
