Once upon a time there was no snowboarding. Arrrgggggghhhhhhhh!

How did the good people of the past hack it? Well, the pearly white glint of the pow still called, and they were temporarily unhinged and lured in by the craze of skiing. :s Thankfully, over time, brave souls broke away from this dark path, and began to shred in the light. Phew! But, they couldn’t have done it without the badass people and abundant influences that’ve had an effect on our beautiful sport in various impressive ways over the years. And that definitely includes positives from skiing too!

So, dear rider, read on to honour their contributions and find out many an epic fact about the evolution of the youngest (and arguably most rad) of the boardsports. Enjoy the ride!
