You must have seen her. The tiny girl who skates BIG. She's been rocking the skate world along with her little bro Ocean for a while now. And rightly so. The pair of tiny rippers from Japan are both already well on their way to becoming pros. At 8 years, Sky was the youngest ever to compete in the Van's Pro - against adults! Check here to watch her rocking the bowl. And watching Ocean, we're pretty sure it wont be long until he's following suit. Sky's been interviewed countless times due to her fabulous mix of talent, cuteness and good heart. Earlier in the year she showed her alliance to Skateistan - the NGO providing skating and education in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa - by becoming one of the Citizens of Skateistan (see last clip). And a month ago the edit dropped of her visit to Cambodia, showing her getting fully involved by skating with kids from Indochina Starfish Foundation (ISF) at Skateistan. This girl!Wanting to make further impact and provide a lasting impact for the kids she met, Sky got together with Pride Socks to create her own design that will help help raise funds for ISF. The clip below shows her wonderful journey. Her sock is called Sky's the Limit and $5 dollars is donated from each sale. A week into sales and they've already raised over a thousand dollars! This kind of money goes far in Cambodia but we hope it continues to rise and rise. Her story is an inspiration, and her heart is as big as her ride. Long may she inspire us!Follow Sky and Ocean at AWSMKIDS on Facebook and Instagram.
