<div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Last day for the FISE in Montpellier. And everyone would like to make the pleasure last a little longer... Despite a capricious weather at the end of the week, this FISE 2023 was an excellent vintage with the particular flavor of an edition full of stakes, almost one year before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">It was an excellent year thanks to the sporting performances of the 1800 international pro and amateur riders who gathered in Montpellier this week and to the atmosphere which, once again this year, has raised the crowd! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The first three days were up 10% on last year, with an all-time high on the Thursday bank holiday, which recorded 175,000 entrances to the site. An attendance equal to 2022 was observed on Saturday, although the rain marked the end of the day. FISE closed with an attendance that reached 510,000 people over 5 days in total. Montpellier is thus definitively positioned as the international capital of urban sports and FISE, for its part, retains the 3rd rank of the most frequented French sports events after the Tour de France and the Vendée Globe.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">It would be difficult to summarize these 5 days in a few lines. Especially since no less than 6 world cup or equivalent events were held in Montpellier this weekend, including 2 related to Olympic sports (Breaking and BMX Freestyle Park):</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">- UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup</div><div style="text-align: justify;">- UCI BMX Freestyle Flatland World Cup</div><div style="text-align: justify;">- WDSF Breaking for Gold Series</div><div style="text-align: justify;">- WS Roller Freestyle Park World Cup</div><div style="text-align: justify;">- FIG Parkour Speed Run World Cup</div><div style="text-align: justify;">- FIG Parkour Freestyle World Cup</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">If we had to retain only the strongest moments among the innumerable performances which followed one another during this Festival, here are those from the Skateboard competition which would impose themselves to us...</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Skateboard Street</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">On the Skateboard Street side, the biggest performer of the FISE 2023 is French! After the qualification in 1st place of <strong>Joseph Garbaccio</strong> (who finally finished 6th), <strong>Maxime Berguin</strong>, really creates the surprise by taking the skatepark by storm and offering himself the best score with 47,82 points in semi-finals which, because of the rain on the day of the final, finally counted for the final overall ranking. Slovakian technician <strong>Ric</strong><strong>hard Tury</strong>, winner of FISE 2018, as for him, put down his arsenal of tricks as well as a huge nose blunt transfer to spice things up, and thus took second place. Brazilian<strong> Ivan Monteiro </strong>to finish, put in a great run and used every obstacle in the park with one of the cleanest styles and a perfect nollie heel 270. He took the third place.</div>
