<div></div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The freestyle festival opens the World Cup winter in the Alps on 18-19 October. Over 150 riders from all over the world will kick off the contest season at the Incity event in the capital of Graubünden. A total of CHF 120,000 in prize money is up for grabs for the athletes at the <strong>FIS World Cup in Chur</strong> - in equal shares for women and men, freeski and snowboard. The freestyle action will be accompanied by live concerts from nine popular bands with main acts Bonez MC and Paul Kalkbrenner. The festival site is open daily from 12 noon to 3 AM. The Big Air Chur champs Tess Ledeux (FRA, 2021 & 2022) and Mathilde Gremaud (SUI, 2023) are the favourites. Local hero Andri Ragettli and world champion Troy Podmilsak (USA) are aiming for the top this time.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">On <strong>Saturday</strong>, also at 8 PM, the best <strong>snowboard</strong> riders will perform their tricks in the exciting final. Five of the six victories so far have gone to the enormously strong Japanese team. Only in 2021 did a Swiss rider, Jonas Bösiger, take the premiere victory at Big Air Chur. </div>
